What PF Means
PF is a power-failure indicator distinct from the PO (Power Outage) alert already covered above — it flags that the unit itself lost and regained power, prompting a check that the clock and any user settings are still correct.
Common Causes of PF
- A home power outage or breaker trip
- The unit was unplugged and replugged, such as during a move or cleaning behind it

Clear the alert per your model's manual (usually a Confirm or press-and-hold on the display) and re-set the clock if it's showing the wrong time; if the unit is cooling normally afterward, nothing further is needed.
