What H2O Light Means

Replace the cartridge first, then clear the counter: press and hold LIGHT and ICE TYPE together for three seconds and the status light goes out. Nothing here needs powering down. If the light clears but water still dispenses slowly, the filter was not the whole story - a cartridge left short of its locked position restricts flow exactly the way a clogged one does, so pull it and reseat it before assuming anything worse.

- This is routine maintenance and there is no hazard in it, so the only real mistake available is paying for a diagnosis of a filter counter.
- If flow stays poor with a new cartridge correctly seated, the next thing in line is the household water line and the valve behind a heavy cabinet, and that is where an owner-level poke becomes a leak behind joinery that nobody sees for a week.
