Freestanding and slide-in Range: FC E5 is published with the sentence that there may be a problem with the Wi-Fi antenna, or the associated wiring. FC E5 carries the same antenna wording as FC E4, published separately. That is a narrower claim than the router-connection codes in the same family: instead of describing a link that will not establish, it names a component inside the appliance. Nothing about the oven or the cooktop is implicated, and the range cooks normally with the code showing.

- The Wi-Fi antenna in the range failed or disconnected
- The wiring between the antenna and the module disturbed

There is nothing to do at the range beyond the standard interruption if you want to try it: power the range down by switching off its circuit breakers for one minute, power it back up, watch it for one minute to be sure the code does not return, and verify the range operates. Because FC E5 names a component rather than a link, resetting the router is less likely to help than it is with the connection codes, though it costs nothing to rule out. Treat this as a convenience repair rather than an urgent one.

- This is a connectivity component and nothing to do with heating, so opening a range over it is effort spent on a feature.
- The antenna sits inside the appliance, reached only by moving a heavy range with the circuit isolated and, on a gas model, the supply shut off.
- An antenna lead disturbed while poking about is easily damaged further, turning a connectivity code into a replaced module.
