KitchenAid's sentence is that there may be a problem with the oven temperature sensor, the warming drawer sensor if the range is so equipped, or the associated wiring. That is the only code in this set that brings the warming drawer into it, so on a range with a warming drawer the fault may be in a compartment you were not even using. KitchenAid notes on the pages in this family that the error code may display in F# E# format or in E# F# format, so the same fault can appear with the two halves swapped.

Let the oven cavity and the cooktop cool before you do anything, and put every surface knob at off. A range holds heat in its grates or its glass long after the controls are off. Do the documented reset: power the range down by switching off its circuit breakers for one minute, power it back up, watch it for one minute to be sure the code does not return, and verify the range operates. Then test both compartments separately if your range has a warming drawer - set the oven and check it with an independent thermometer, and run the warming drawer and see whether it heats at all.
