The KUDI01FLSS is a genuinely legacy KitchenAid dishwasher from the Architect Series’ original late-1990s/early-2000s generation, built around a mechanical hard food disposer and multi-level Hydro Sweep wash arms rather than any digital sensor system. It doesn’t report faults the way a current dishwasher does — there’s no error-code display at all — so diagnosis is done by testing the motor, heating element, and latch switch directly, the same as it would have been serviced when new.
